Catrin & Steffan’s Wedding  at Coed Y Mwstwr Hotel   , Coychurch, Bridgend

What a great band – they couldn’t have been more helpful during the run-up to the wedding, were very professional in every aspect and went down a storm with all ages at the event.
They kicked off proceedings brilliantly and kept the dance floor full during the traditional dances, while keeping everyone entertained during the “rest periods” from dancing. The choice of songs was excellent and appropriate, maintaining a really positive atmosphere throughout the evening. To top it all, they were really approachable and great people to deal with and their musicianship never dipped below excellent. Don’t think about it, book them!
Kind regards and I sincerely hope we meet again sometime, Pob hwyl a diolch,
Jeff

Hi Larry

A very big thanks for making our Golden Wedding Anniversary party such a memorable evening. Everybody said they had a fantastic time and thought the band and the caller were superb.   It couldn’t have gone better, you are a very talented band. Please pass on our thanks to the other band members.

What a brilliant night! The Loughor Mabsant got off to a great start with Rocky Road who kicked the night off with a stunning blend of beautiful Celtic music, dance tunes & songs.  We are looking forward to hearing them perform again tomorrow!

Swansea Mencap“Swansea Mencap, which meets at Friendship House on two evenings per week, exists to provide leisure time activities for young people and adults with a learning disability.

We have approx. 250 people on our Register and we attempt to provide activities for our Members both inside and outside our premises.  These include; art/craft, pottery, digital photography, computers, pool, darts, indoor games and sports, swimming, cookery and other activities which our Members request, wherever feasible.

We also take our Members on visits, both within the local community and further afield.

In July we host a BBQ at Friendship House which is usually followed by live music from an instrumental group.  This year we we were lucky enough to obtain the services of Rocky Road Celtic Band, not the first time they have performed for us.   They were absolutely marvellous and played and sang for over an hour with a wide variety of music and songs performed by these excellent musicians!  All our Members had a terrific time singing along to favourite tunes and songs and dancing the whole afternoon away!

I must say a very appreciative ‘Thank You’ to them: they really made the day go wonderfully well, despite the weather which was appalling! I do hope that they will perform for us again in the future.  Many of our Members have commented on how much they enjoyed the performance and have asked if they can play for us again at our New Year’s Party.

Thank you Rocky Road!”
